The name G & N originates from “Genesis,” meaning beginning, and “Neos,” meaning new.
Our mission is to reimagine timeless music for a new era—breathing fresh life into classic sounds and passing them on to the next generation. This is both our origin and our ongoing challenge.
One expression of this philosophy is our “Neo-Pop” project: re-arranging iconic hits from the 1980s with a modern sensibility and presenting them as part of a new pop culture. With deep respect for musical legacy and a clear vision for the future, G & N was born to embody this commitment through sound.
History of G & N
G & N Entertainment is a music production company established in 2024 to carry forward the technical excellence and extensive network of Studio Legacy—a Los Angeles-based studio that has created countless hit songs over more than 45 years since its founding in 1979—and to pioneer new music projects for the future.
Throughout its history, Studio Legacy has collaborated with top artists and producers across a wide range of genres, from pop, rock, and R&B to anime music, delivering world-class recording techniques and exceptional production quality.Building on this accumulated experience and network, G & N Entertainment strives to serve as a bridge between Japan and the world, creating timeless music that will be cherished for generations.
